It all started in the Spring of 2016...

Hannah and Stein first met singing in the choir for mass at the Georgia Tech Catholic Center.

What happened next is still up for debate.

Stein's version:

"I would sometimes make corny jokes about the Latin music we were singing and found Hannah was the only one to let out a smirk or laugh. We noticed a connection and started talking more. When I found out that Hannah lived on the same side of campus, I used my devilish charm to convince Hannah to give me a ride to and from choir practice. During this time, we found that we shared a unique talent and taste in music: being able to rap all the lyrics to our favorite rap songs. After many car rides, late nights talking, and my new found guitar hobby (aka letting Hannah "teach" me how to play guitar), I finally asked Hannah to be my girlfriend. And the rest is "herstory"..."

Hannah's version:

"Just to be nice, I offered Stein a ride to and from choir practice, and we soon found ourselves packing as much music and conversation as we could into that short drive. I first knew something was up when Stein laughed at one of the corniest jokes I have ever made in my entire life (it was about a rap song). We grew closer and found that we shared many of the same values and goals. Our first date was to go eat Indian food for dinner on his birthday. I must have handled the spiciness well enough because he asked me to be his girlfriend the next day. And the rest is "our story"..."

After 5 years of long-distance dating, Stein popped the question on a vacation he planned for Hannah to

Napa Valley, California.

Following our marriage, we will be moving to Washington D.C. for Stein's new job. Hannah will still be in Johnson City part time as she finishes up medical school, and she hopes to match into a residency within the D.C. area.

We are looking forward to the move and to all that life has in store for us as we begin our marriage! We sincerely hope you can join us to celebrate this next chapter of our lives.
